Clubhouse

Our historic Clubhouse is a hub of activity, no matter what the weather.  Here, we hold our social functions throughout the year, including coffee mornings, discos, karaoke, quiz nights, themed dances, and pool tournaments.  Members can also hire the Clubhouse for private functions.
The Clubhouse also features our Licensed Bar, the perfect place for a pint and a chat.  There is a TV and music system nearby, and plenty of comfy chairs for relaxing while you sip your favourite tipple.
Rain or shine, our south-facing Solarium is always warm and inviting.  There are more comfy chairs here, as well as books, games, and puzzles to occupy your brain while you wait for the “liquid sunshine” to let up!
In addition to table tennis, the Clubhouse has a very popular pool table where you can practice for our annual Singles and Doubles Pool Tournaments.  But beware who you challenge; we have some very good players!
On Wednesday and Friday evenings, the Sauna is fired up, ready for you to sweat away your earlier indiscretions at the Café or Bar.  There is an additional charge of £3 per person for the Sauna, but well worth the price for how virtuous you will feel afterwards.

  • Monday: 13:00 to 19:00
  • Tuesday: CLOSED
  • Wednesday: 13:00 to 23:00
  • Thursday: CLOSED
  • Friday: 13:00 to 23:00
  • Saturday: 13:00 to 18:00 then 20:00 to 00:00
  • Sunday: 13:00 to 19:00

SUNDAY

If we have blazing hot weather and there are members queuing ten deep at the bar we will endeavour to stay open longer to satisfy demand!
