The Media company has confirmed that the footage shot at Spielplatz will be broadcast on Friday 3 September – 7 PM.

We will also be sent some DVDs of the show.

Something to watch in the clubhouse this Friday at the sauna evening.

It’s this coming weekend!

There is a clothes optional evening organised at Butterfly World on Saturday 21 August 2010. The evening starts at 6 PM and ends at 9 PM.

We are being charged the group booking rate which is adults £5.00, concessions (over 60s/students with valid ID) £4.00, children (3-16) £3.00, under 3s free.

Butterfly World is a short walk or drive from Spielplatz and it should be a very enjoyable evening.

I’m researching a feature on the rise of the ‘nakation’, as travel website Skyscanner.net has recently published its ten naturist destinations.

I would like to interview 2-3 women (aged 20 – 45) who, as part of a couple, group of friends, or as a family, enjoy naturist holidays and would be happy to appear in a women’s magazine, such as Closer, Now or Reveal, to tell their story. The feature will look at the growing popularity of naturist holidays, why women choose this type of holiday and why they enjoy it.

At Ferrari Press Agency, we have a small team of experienced female feature writers who have vast experience of the magazine features market and would treat the women’s stories with the care they deserve. Ferrari Press Agency was established more than 60 years ago and has a reputation within the magazine and newspaper industry for delivering stories to a high standard and looking after people who tell their story right through to publication.

We would interview the women personally and read our copy back to them and a magazine would pay a generous fee.

We have been approached by a media company:-

“My name is Kaye and I work for Real Life Media, a television Production Company based in Leeds. We are the main independent producers of short films for The One Show, BBC One’s daily 7pm magazine show.

One of the show’s longest-running and most popular strands of programmes for The One Show is ‘Street Barber’ which aims to reflect the great variety of people and communities across the country through the slightly unusual means of hairdressing. It features our presenter Michael Douglas – a famous hairdresser in his own right – arriving at an institution, community or establishment of interest and getting an insight into the lives of the people there as he cuts their hair. The focus of the film is very much the life and work of the people we are featuring and the haircuts are a small part of the filming, designed to be a way for Michael to give something back to his hosts and have an informal chat rather than a standard formal interview.

We have filmed over thirty very varied episodes which have included; Birmingham Children’s Hospital, a British Army Garrison in Germany, the islanders of Papa Westray, Peterborough Cathedral , a cross channel ferry, the Nottingham Panthers Ice hockey team, a construction site, a groups of Viking re-enactors and most recently a touring Circus. We have always enjoyed a warm relationship with the people we have filmed with, both during and after the event.

We would love to film a Street Barber with a group of naturists this summer. This would be filmed Early August. The tone of this item is very important, the item airs at 7pm and the One Show values any contribution towards the programme and is protecting towards contributors. We have no hidden agenda and the nature of this item is light-hearted and conversational enough to deal with this very successfully.

In TV terms we are a small (a maximum of four people) and low-maintenance crew and very experienced at working in contained locations where the filming boundaries have been clearly defined. I’d be very grateful if you could have a think about this, if you think you have any guests who might be happy to have a hair cut and a chat on camera!”

We are busy getting the grounds ready for our open weekend. Setting up the stage for the bands to use and erecting the tents and gazebos on the lawns.

We are saddened by the news that Pamela has died. Pamela took part in the film ‘Naked — As Nature Intended’ that was filmed at Spielplatz in 1961.

Long time member Philip Carr-Gomm has published his new book: ‘A Brief History of Nakedness’. There are many references to Spielplatz and the book takes an interesting look at the naked body.
